Picture frames are a popular gift for Christmas. Give it a holiday touch
by inserting an old Christmas card and adding to and from on it.
Turn a plain frame into a special one for the holidays by decoupaging
small images cut from Christmas cards.
You can make festive plates by decoupaging cut outs to the back of a
clear plate.
Create your own holiday post cards by cutting the picture from the card
and adding a message and address on the back. An added bonus is the
postage will be less.
Make your own cards by buying card stock and gluing images from old
cards on to the front. Use a gold pen to add a personal message inside
and you have a beautiful handcrafted card.
Use small pictures from old cards to create this year’s gift tags. Just
cut with decorative shears, punch a hole and add a ribbon to attach to
the packages.
To share a favorite holiday recipe, use an old Christmas card as a
recipe card. You can just write the recipe on the back or glue an image
from the old card to a new recipe card.
Instead of spending for holiday scrapbook materials, cut out images from
old Christmas cards and use them to create your family’s holiday scrap
book.
So don’t toss those beautiful cards, save them and recycle Christmas
memories next year.
