NORFOLK-  Grab your umbrellas this afternoon as rain and a few isolated storms are headed to the ABC 13 viewing area.

The better chances for storms are in southern parts of our viewing area, mainly in northeast North Carolina.  Temperatures will remain in the upper 50's to low 60's which does not provide a lot of energy for strong storm development.

Rainfall amounts of up to a quarter of an inch are possible with a few locally higher amounts possible under heavier downpours.

Most of the viewing area will see rain during the evening commute.

It's going to be a wet week with a chance for stronger storms on Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures are going to be warmer in the upper 70's to low 80's.
