NORFOLK--An adult male in his 40s is in critical condition Saturday after a car hit him just after 7 p.m. Friday evening.
Norfolk Police are still investigating the auto-pedestrian accident that happened on Tidewater Drive.
It happened around 7:15pm Friday in the 2500 block of Tidewater Drive near Vista Avenue. A car hit a man as it was headed Northbound on Tidewater.
The man was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He is in critical condition at this time.
A fatality crash team responded to the scene to investigate. Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
