Driver cut from overturned vehicle in Va. Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH – An elderly woman lost control of her vehicle and it overturned, police say.
The 80-year-old had to be cut from her Chevy Caprice Classic and then was flown by Nightingale to Sentara Norfolk General.
She has life-threatening injuries, police say.
The accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on southbound Corporate Landing Parkway.
Police the woman’s vehicle struck the right curb, hit a sign and then a tree before it flipped over.
