Governors place friendly wager on 2008 Orange Bowl

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Governor Tim Kaine is placing a friendly wager on the outcome of the 2008 Orange Bowl featuring Virginia Tech and the University of Kansas.
Kaine's office says that if the Hokies win, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius will send Kaine an assortment of Kansas beef. But if the Jayhawks win, Kaine will send along a Virginia ham.
Despite having grown up in Kansas, Kaine is a well-known fan of Virginia Tech.
Kaine says while he doesn't want to jinx the team, he thinks Tech's defense is going to handle Kansas pretty easily.
Sebelius says the Jayhawks have a winning combination of a depth of talent and coaching.
The Orange Bowl is Thursday, January 3rd in Miami.
