| Recommended Bicyclist dies after being struck by car in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE – Charges are pending against a driver who police say struck and killed a bicyclist.
Buddy D. Bohlander, 58, died at the hospital Thursday afternoon.
Police say he was on George Washington Highway around 1:20 p.m. when a Jeep Cherokee veered to the right, striking the cyclist.
Police say the driver was Florance Moore, 29, of Portsmouth.
