Items stolen from two Suffolk school buses

SUFFOLK – Thieves stole things from batteries to first aid kits and tail lights from two Suffolk school buses.
They were parked at Florence Bowser Elementary School on Nansemond Parkway.
A radio, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, a spilI kit and two batteries were removed from bus 171.
Two batteries, two tail lights, two back up lights and two turn signal lights from the back of the bus were stolen from bus 69.

Repairs have been made and the buses are back on the street.
Suffolk Schools spokeswoman Bethanne Bradshaw says damage is estimated at about $1,000.
