Man accused of stabbing dog to death in Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS – Police say a man stabbed his dog to death.
Roberto Henriquez, 33, of Windsor Castle Drive, is charged with felony cruelty to animals.
Police and Animal Control officers were called to his home on October 27 and found an English Bulldog that had been stabbed several times.
Henriquez was arrested Monday night and was freed on bail.
He's due in court again on December 2, according to the online Newport News General District Court.
