NORFOLK (AP) -- A former Marine will spend 12 years in federal prison for possessing at least 650,000 images of child pornography.

William Judy of Virginia Beach was sentenced Monday for having what prosecutors called a collection unlike anything the U.S. Attorney's Office has seen, including "particularly brutal" and "horrendous acts of bondage and bestiality" involving children.

The 51-year-old served 16 years in the Marine Corps. He was arrested earlier this year after federal immigration agents discovered he had purchased an $80 subscription to a child pornography Web site.

Judy also admitted traveling to Mexico and Thailand to have sex with underage prostitutes.
