Suspect extradited from Louisiana for Eastern Shore murder

ACCOMACK COUNTY – A Louisiana man is back in Virginia to face murder charges.

Jowarski Russell Nedd, 28 of Des Allemands, Louisiana, was extradited and is being held at the Accomack County Jail.

He's charged with the August 19 murder of Albert Danny Hargis. The 53-year-old man was found on the morning of August 19 along Hurst Store Road, at the site where he was building his new home in Parksley.

Hargis had been reported missing a day earlier.

Nedd was arrested in September on charges of 1st degree murder, use of firearm in commission of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
