PORTSMOUTH – Spraying for mosquitoes on federal property at Craney Island will take place this weekend.
250 acres at the Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area will be treated Sunday, weather permitting.
The larvicide poses no threat to humans or animals, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Officials say no spraying will occur in neighborhoods near the site.
