Police: Drugs, weapons found in Newport News boarding house

NEWPORT NEWS -- What started out as an officer investigating a suspicious man turned into a major drug bust.
Inside the boarding home, police say they recovered a pound of marijuana in a gym bag and a two guns, including one that had been stolen from Gloucester.
Police have arrested Kyree Darrisaw, 21, a convicted felon, on several charges. They say he was selling drugs near the Denbigh Early Childhood Center.
He was staying at a home in the 14300 block of Old Courthouse Way.
