PORTSMOUTH –Two men were shot outside a townhouse in Portsmouth.

Police were called to Mallard Cove Townhomes on Lancer Avenue just before midnight.

The victims, whose names haven't been released, were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover, said police spokesman Det. John Doyle.

Doyle says there’s only a vague description of the suspects – two black males.

Investigators don’t know the circumstances that led to Thursday night’s shooting.
