One person was killed in this crash on Route 13.

EXMORE -- It's been a deadly day on Route 13 on the Eastern Shore.

One person was killed in a head-on collision around noon on Route 13, according to Candy Farlow, editor of the Eastern Shore Post, who sent a photograph of the crash

Virginia State Police say a van and truck collided.

Then, around 5:00 p.m.in Onley, a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle, according to State Police.

It happened on Route 13 in front of the Wendy's fast food restaurant.

Crews were on the scene clearing debris from the roadway.

The investigations in both crashes continues. The names of the victims haven't been released.
