ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY -- White supremacist papers were delivered to dozens of homes in the Town of Windsor in Isle of Wight County.
The police chief says the 10-page paper, called the Aryan Alternative, upset the people who found it in their driveways two weeks ago.
Two residents have filed a complaint.
“One of them indicated he went into his neighbors’ driveways and collected them,” said Chief Robert Porti.
Leroy Arthur found one in his driveway.
"It said ‘white this and then white that.’ I said, ‘What in the devil is this going on here now.’ It was just a little bitty thing, it wasn't big. I just took it and carried it in the house and threw it in the trash," he said.
Although the literature was upsetting to people, there’s nothing legally to be done about it.
“There is no crime that has been committed. The Commonwealth’s Attorney has indicated there is now we can move forward on at this point,” Chief Porti noted.
