Level 2 wind advisory issued for Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel

CHESAPEAKE -- The winds at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel his 47 miles-per-hour around 3:30 p.m. Monday, bringing the advisory to level 2.
At that level, motorcycles, large pick-up campers, camper/houser trailers, towed vehicles, exterior cargo vehicles, six-wheeled vechiles, empty tractor trailers and tractor trailers with less than a 30,000 pound payload are not permitted to cross the bridge tunnel at this time.
Tractors without trailers are presently allowed to cross.
