Woman charged in Hampton man's death

HAMPTON -- Police arrested a 38-year-old woman in connection with the death of a Hampton man.
Around 2:45 a.m. on May 1st, police found 36-year-old Tyrone Adkinson lying on a porch on the 1st block of Dogwood Street suffering from a gun shot wound to the head. He was taken to the hospital, where he died a day later.
Sunday, Hampton Police arrested Elaine Monique Clarke in connection with the shooting. She now faces charges of murder and use of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.
She is currently held in the Hampton City Jail.
