Fox attacks workers at two Suffolk businesses

A fox that attacked three people in Suffolk Thursday morning has tested positive for rabies.
Ronnie Kemp, 17, an employee at Sonic on North Main Street was chased by the fox around 6 a.m.
"I saw it, and I took off running," Kemp said.
The rabid fox them appeared at the Barton Ford car dealership, attacking two employees.
As Kemp was getting off work, the fox reappeared.
"He came after me," said Kemp.
When the animal jumped on Kemp, teen was able to throw the fox against the wall, temporarily knocking it out. When the fox tried to attack again, the teen fought him off with a stick.
The fox died. Animal Control officers say you should call them if you ever see a wild animal acting strange during the day.
