A Hampton family is anxiously searching for their missing son. Family members say the man, who has been missing since Tuesday, has a medical condition and needs his medication.

24-year-old John Samuel III was last seen at his home in the first block of Bullock Place in Hampton. Family members have checked places where Samuel was known to hang out. They say he's never wandered off before and his father is very concerned that he's in danger.

"He has a very very mild case of schizophrenia. When he's off his meds, it causes him to hear voices," said John Samuel, Jr. "I'm very concerned for his well being because he needs medication to keep himself balanced."

Police added Samuel's name to the missing persons list. Samuel, Jr. has made up flyers with his son's photo and posted them around town. He says a lot of people are looking and praying for his son.

"It's rough. I love him dearly and I just want him to come home," said the father.

John Samuel III is 5'9" with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the missing man is asked to call Hampton Police.
