HAMPTON – The O’Jays, Michael McDonald and Patti LaBelle and Fantasia are among the artists who will perform at this year’s Hampton Jazz Festival.

The 42nd annual music festival takes place June 26, 27 and 28 at Hampton Coliseum.

There are several newcomers, including Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Ledisi, who will help kick off the three-day event.

On Saturday, American Idol winner Fantasia will make her first appearance.

Three newscomers found out the event Sunday, including smooth jazz piano artist Keiko Matsui.

Tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28.  They’re $52.50 per day, plus applicable fees.
