Dare Co. sexual assault
MANTEO, NC - A woman was attacked as she sat on the porch of her Manteo home.
Dare Co. Sheriff's deputies were called to Jones Circle around 3:00 a.m. on Monday, February 18. They searched the area but didn't find the attacker.
She described the man, who didn't have a weapon, as wearing all dark clothing: a black jean jacket, black cargo pants and black boots. Authorities add the suspect is very skinny, African-American, in his late 40s or early 50s, about 6'2" tall and has short black hair and a greying goatee.

Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard told WVEC.com there have been no similar incidents reported.
