ACCOMACK COUNTY -- Investigators are looking at the latest in a string or arson incidents on the Eastern Shore, which took place Sunday morning.

An unoccupied trailer and a two story house were the latest structures set on fire on the Eastern Shore.

Shortly after 1 a.m. arson investigators from the Virginia State Police were dispatched to a report of a structure fire in the 24300 block of John Cane Road in the Parksley area of the county, according to a Virginia State Police news release.

Investigators subsequently determined that an unoccupied single wide trailer had been set on fire, and the fire then spread to an adjacent two-story house, also unoccupied, about 50 yards away. There were no injuries reported.

State police are urging the public to provide tips and other information, and continue to offer $25,000 reward to anyone that can provide information that leads to an arrest.

There have been 68 confirmed incidents of arson believed to be related in Accomack County since November of last year.
