NC town to get money for downtown redevelopment

WILSON, N.C. (AP) — An eastern North Carolina city is getting federal funding to redevelop its downtown.

U.S. Rep. G.K. Butterfield will meet Friday with Wilson Mayor Bruce Rose, City Manager Grant Goings and other city officials to announce federal funding for the downtown revitalization effort.

Butterfield will meet with the officials during the afternoon at city hall.
