NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Two members of a Portsmouth street gang have pleaded guilty for their roles in illegal activities.
Federal prosecutors say 24-year-old Jamyia Rashad Brothers pleaded guilty in federal court in Norfolk on Friday in the December 2007 slayings of two Portsmouth residents.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Jerrell Ivey Woodley pleaded guilty to a firearms charge relating to an assault.
Both defendants face up to life in prison. Brothers is set to be sentenced on Jan. 9, while Woodley's sentencing is set for Jan. 4.
Federal prosecutors say 11 members of the Bounty Hunter Bloods gang have now been convicted.
