NORFOLK – The deadline is a week away for Virginians to register to vote in the November mid-term election.
You can apply at any DMV office or go to the registrars office.
To find out if you’re already registered or to find your polling place, call the State Board of Elections at 1-888-552-9745 or check its Website.
The deadline to register in Virginia is Tuesday, October 12.
In North Carolina, the deadline to register to vote is 25 days before the day of the election.
The 2010 midterm election will be held on Tuesday, November 2 with at least 36 of the 100 seats in the Senate being contested and all House seats coming up for election.
