RICHMOND (AP) - An FBI agent  will be back on the stand Thursday to continue testifying about finances and phone records of former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife, Maureen.

Agent David Hulser led the investigation into the former first couple. On the stand Wednesday, he summarized all of the evidence in this case.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Dry says the government expects to rest its case Thursday. If that happens, the jury will take Friday off and begin hearing from defense witnesses Monday.

The McDonnells are charged in a 14-count indictment with accepting more than $165,000 in gifts and loans from the former CEO of a dietary supplements maker in exchange for promoting his company's products. They could face decades in prison if convicted.
