This week, the now 74 year old mother of three joins me to talk about child abuse through the eyes of a child. With us will be Betty Wade Coyle, who runs Prevent Child Abuse Hampton Roads, and Kathy Jeffries, Development Director for Seton Youth Shelters in Virginia Beach.

Art Collins retires at the end of this month after 39 years with the regional planning district commission, the last thirty as its executive director. Regional cooperation has improved dramatically over that time, but transportation remains an obstacle, principally because it must receive funding and approvals from other layers of government. Collins has been praised and reviled for his efforts. On Sunday he looks back on regional successes and failures.
