Norfolk police make arrest in weekend murder

NORFOLK – A man was shot and killed last weekend in Norfolk.

Melvin Hill
Willie Lee Robinson, 40, was found around 4:00 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of West 26th Street.
Police were called after residents in the area reported gunfire.
Robinson was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police say they took Melvin Hill into custody at the scene and he was charged later that day with Robinson’s murder.
Hill, 35, is in jail on charges of murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Police didn't release a possible motive for the killing.
