VA-India trade conference to be held in Norfolk

NORFOLK (AP) -- Business leaders from Virginia and India will gather in Norfolk next month for a trade conference.
Gov. Timothy M. Kaine says the event will be the strongest international program to be held in Virginia in a number of years.
The conference is scheduled for Oct. 15-16 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. The hosts are the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the Virginia Port Authority.
Kaine is scheduled to speak during the opening session. The keynote speaker will be India ambassador Ronen Sen.
