NEWPORT NEWS -- A 48-year-old is under arrest for allegedly molesting a little girl in the late 1990s.

Police say Jerry Wilcox is charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with minor and one count of indecent exposure.

According to authorities, Wilcox's wife was babysitting the child from 1997 to 1999 and they say that's when he sexually moested the child in his 79th Street home. The girl was three to four years old.

The child and family live out of state now and just recently came forward with the allegation.

Newport News Police are concerned that there may be other victims.
