CHESAPEAKE-The Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation is raising money to get 3D mammography equipment to expand Chesapeake Regional Medical Center's capabilities for improved screening and diagnostic breast imaging.

You can help by buying a ticket or two to the foundation's annual fundraising gala set for Saturday, January 25. This year's theme is Run for the Roses.

Officials say the 3D mammography technology is more accurate, decreases recall rates and biopsies and provides earlier breast cancer detection.

More than 800 guests will be treated to dinner and dancing to the band A-Town A-List at the Chesapeake Conference Center from 6 p.m. to midnight.
