Police say surveillance camera caught image of car break-in suspect

HAMPTON-One of four people suspected of breaking into cars in Hampton was caught on security cameras and police want your help to identify him.

They stole electronics, money and credit cards left in unlocked cars parked in the King Street and Jonquil Lane area on October 17, said Cpl. Mary Shackelford with Hampton Police.

The image of one suspect was taken by a surveillance camera in the gated community where the larcenies took place.

Anyone with information about these vehicle larcenies or who can help identify the man in the photo should all Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Police say you can cut down on the chance your car could be a target by removing valuable items or putting them in the trunk so they are not visible to thieves.
