WILLIAMSBURG -- A suspected meth lab was found in a Williamsburg home and a man has been taken from the home for questioning.

Major Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department tells WVEC.com officers executed a search warrant around 10 a.m. after receiving a tip a couple weeks ago of a suspected meth lab on Virginia Avenue.  The home is across the street from City Hall and down the street from the police station.

While the house is also near the College of William and Mary, police say the people living in the home aren't students.

The Williamsburg Fire Department and Virginia State Police are also on the scene.

Major Riley says no one has been arrested and no homes have had to be evacuated.
