The recent rash of credit card breaches is prompting a look at some new technology.  The more expensive micro-chip technology is standard for cards in other countries but not here in the United States.  The EMV cards generate a one-time security code every time they are used.

Fewer young adults are drinking beer, according to a new study by new report by consumer research firm Mintel. Beer drinking is down 30 percent from 20 years ago, and it seems beer sales for all age groups are flat.  During that same time, though, liquor and wine sales were on the rise.  Right now, the only bright spot for beer sales seems to be craft beers.

Of course, when it comes to Super Bowl, beer ads scored big.  According to USA Today, the most favorite commercial Sunday was from Budweiser.  The commercial features a cute puppy which keeps coming home to the Clydesdale horse it loves.

How would you like your next tweet to earn you $1.5 million?  Well, Esurance says it's possible.  The company is going to give that money to someone who tweets a message to #EsuranceSave30 by 1 a.m. PT Tuesday, February 4. This may be the largest cash prize ever given away using Twitter.
