VIRGINIA BEACH – Veterans are riding for a cause this weekend.
Two, three and four-wheelers will take part in the VFW Riders Poker Run to raise money for homeless veterans.
Vets House, Inc. is a non-profit organization that supplies 12-month transitional housing for 20 homeless veterans at a time.
“The way I feel, it's vets helping vets," says Glen Holman VFW Riders president.
Registration is Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at VFW Post 4809 off Military Highway in Norfolk.
It costs $15.00 to participate and is open to anyone who likes to ride.
