USS Bataan ARG celebrates Thanksgiving

Gulf of Aden (Nov. 24, 2011) Culinary Specialist Seaman Apprentice Abdul Ali Thompson, a native of Danville, Va., shapes dough to make rolls in the bake shop aboard multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) in preparation for the crew’s Thanksgiving Day meal Nov. 24. Bataan is the command ship of Bataan Amphibious Ready Group conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
