Gulf of Aden (Nov. 24, 2011) Culinary Specialist Seaman Jimmie Coleman, a native of San Diego, slices turkey in the galley aboard multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) in preparation for the crew’s Thanksgiving Day meal Nov. 24. Bataan is the command ship of Bataan Amphibious Ready Group conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
