Naval Weapons Station trains for vehicle IED attacks

WPNSTA Yorktown training personnel simulated a VBIED at the truck inspection station at Gate 3 as part of Exercise Solid Curtain/Citadel Shield, the largest anti-terrorism and force protection exercise tconducted nation-wide, March 19-23. The exercise is designed to enhance Navy personnel's training and readiness to prepare for and respond to terrorist threats.
