120523-N-LU814-368 NEW YORK (May 23, 2012) The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) enters New York during a parade of tall and military ships at the start of Fleet Week New York 2012. More than 6,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen arrived in New York on six U.S. Navy ships, three U.S. Coast Guard cutters, and 12 coalition ships.
