Wounded Wear's Jumping for a Purpose benefits wounded warriors

SUFFOLK  --75 wounded warriors and families of the fallen will take part in a tandem freefall with Wounded Wear this Friday and Saturday. 

More than 2,000 people are expected to take part in events during Jumping for a Purpose V at Skydive Suffolk at 1200 Gene Bolton Dr.

Wounded Warriors will arrive at 8 a.m. both days, followed by opening ceremonies. The event will take place from 8:30 to 3:30pm on both Friday and Saturday.

Live entertainment will be provided by Brian Grilli, The Deloreans, and the Mona Lisa’s and food will be provided by Altitudes and the Suffolk Ruritans. There will also be a kid’s area that will include a bounce house, inflatable ponies, hair spray paint and temporary tattoos. Additional non-profit organizations will be set up to distribute information.
