VIRGINIA BEACH - A Virginia Beach woman says a bulldog attacked two of her children.

Angela Olsen lives in Lincoln military Housing.   She says her 7-year-old son was playing at a friend’s house when the dog jumped up over small fence and bit her son’s finger.

“My son simply placed his hand on this person’s fence and was bitten,” she said.

Olsen said the dog bit her 15-year-old daughter in the face.   The teen had gone to talk to the dog's owner, according to Olsen.

The girl needed stitches around her jaw area and is undergoing plastic surgery.

“I teach my children to tell the truth no matter what.  I know they are not lying to me when they tell me that they didn't do anything to provoke this dog into biting them,” she stated.

Olsen's frustrated that Animal Control isn't responding to her concerns.   She also wants the military to replace all the fences in the complex so that they're six-feet tall instead of four-feet tall.

“This is a military housing community with hundreds of children, some as small as my child may not understand that all dogs aren't friendly.”
