VIRGINIA BEACH -- According to our partners at the Virginian Pilot, fighter squadrons based at Oceana will conduct field carrier landing practice beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
During the test, as many as five jets will take off, circle the air station, and do a series of touch-and-go landings.
Oceana officials say the FCLP’s have been going on for many weeks and this week is a light week, with night operations only happening tonight.
