Man struck by vehicle in Va. Beach
08:35 PM EDT on Friday, October 19, 2007
A car struck a man walking in the street with a friend Friday night.
According to Rene Ball, spokesperson for the Va. Beach Police Department, the 19-year-old victim was walking near the intersection of Halifax Drive when a Dodge Neon struck him.
The teenager was taken via ambulance to a local hospital, but police do not believe his injuries are life-threatening.
Ball says the victim was wearing dark clothing at the time of impact, so she's unsure if the driver will be facing charges.
