A Virginia Beach man died when his car turned over in a North Carolina causeway. It happened about 1:15 a.m. Thursday in Knotts Island in Currituck County. Police said the 25-year-old man lost control of his car, which rolled into a canal. He was trapped underwater and he was pulled to shore, but he died at the hospital.
