Teen charged with hit-and-run over loud music request
04:01 PM EDT on Thursday, October 5, 2006
A 19-year-old Hampton woman was arrested Thursday after police say she tried to run a man over after he asked her to turn down her car radio.
64-year-old Ray Puscher said Tiffany Goode was driving through his neighborhood about 5:00 p.m. on September 27. He said he approached her at a stop sign, held up his hand to stop her and asked her to turn down the music.
“So with that, she reached over and she flipped the volume up higher, muttered something at me and nailed it,” he said.

Somehow, Puscher got caught in the vehicle and was dragged about 10 feet down Thornrose Avenue before getting free. He says his nose is fractured.
“They say she was laughing as she drove away, turned around, looked and was laughing,” he added.
Goode, of the 1st block of Granella Street, was arrested Wednesday night in Newport News after police got a tip from a Crime Line caller. She faces charges including hit-and-run and driving on a suspended license.
Puscher said he wants to see the teen prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
