NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Norfolk police say a ten-year-old boy missing since
Wednesday has been found at Little Creek Amphibious Base in Virginia
Beach.
Officer Chris Amos says Zechariah Lucas and his family moved to Norfolk
recently from Gulfport, Mississippi.
Amos says the boy disappeared yesterday morning when he ran away from
the family's room at the Ramada Inn in Oceanview after arguing with his
mother.
Amos says the boy's mother, Linda Canham, told officers he has a history
of running away but always has returned by nightfall.
Police say their investigation is continuing.
