Vick to develop second Surry County property
06:16 PM EDT on Wednesday, June 6, 2007
Michael Vick’s financial manager has filed paperwork to develop a second property in Surry County.
Charles Reamon submitted paperwork to build two horse stables on 69 acres of land on the opposite side of the county from Vick's other property.
That's the site of a home under investigation for dog fighting.
Vick's real estate agent tells 13News Reamon and Vick had plans to build a lodge there and use the property for hunting deer.
Neither Vick nor Reamon planned to live there.
“As far as I know, they were going to use it for hunting, that's why they bought the property,” said Vick’s real estate agent, John Brooks.
Investigators are reviewing evidence in the dog fighting case and say it may be next week before they meet again with the Commonwealth's Attorney to discuss possible charges.
