NORFOLK -- A Norfolk salon was raided by police earlier this month for allegedly selling cocaine from the business.
Police raided Kulture Kuts Hair Salon in the 5000 block of East Princess Anne Road at 1 a.m. on February 14 following an undercover investigation.
Investigators were first tipped off to Kulture Kutz in January. The search warrant shows they were getting information from a confidential informant.
That's when detectives focused in on Terrence Earl Osborne, the owner of the salon who also goes by the nickname "T," according to the warrant.
Investigators say Osborne was living in an apartment off Darnell Drive in Virginia Beach.
After contacting him by phone, detectives allegedly made their first drug deal with Osborne in January, according to the warrant.
The report indicates that they made a second deal at Kulture Kutz more than a week later, then again in February.
All three times investigators say they bought hundreds of dollars worth of cocaine.
Detectives seized cocaine, money and paperwork from the salon before arresting Osborne on February 14.
Neighbors say they were not surprised to hear about the bust.
"There are cars over there all the time," said neighbor Richard Dunton. "I guess it comes with the territory. I don't like it."
According to court records, Osborne will be in Norfolk District Court on March 27.
According to the warrant, the following items were seized during the raid:
United State Currency
Quantity of Cocaine
5 Flatscreen TVs with Remotes
2 Computers with Hardware (keyboard and mouse)
2 Cell Phones
2 DVD/CD/DVR Recorder with Remotes
1 iPod Touch
1 Wi-Fi Hotspot
