VIRGINIA BEACH - Beach Garden Park in Virginia Beach will be closed for about two months for work to reduce flooding in the area.  

The 18-acre park near the Oceanfront at 2854 Kilbourne Court was closed as of Wednesday, May 7. Access to the park and Kilbourne Court is restricted.

The stormwater drainage improvement project should be complete and the park reopened by mid-July.
