NEWPORT NEWS -- A woman leaving a Newport News business at the end of the night was robbed at gunpoint last Friday, police said.

According to police, a man forced the employee back inside Cybernet on Stoney Creek Lane and demanded money from the safe. The woman gave the man two envelopes containing cash and the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, 18 to 23 years old, 5'9 to 5' 11", about 110 pounds and was wearing a dark-colored jacket with a white hoodie underneath. Police say he was carrying a small silver colored handgun.
